"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Attention:To the Honorable Recipient..

Sir,

I am Mr. Scott C. Smith the Assistant Director Inspection Unit/United
Nations Inspection Agent of African Envoy of custom services here in
Harts-field Atlanta International Airport Georgia USA. During our
recent withheld transferred package routine check at the Airport
Storage Vault, I discovered your shipment from a Diplomat from Africa
under an African courier company’s ship forwarder from J.F Kennedy
Int’l Airport to our facility here in Atlanta and when scanned it
revealed an undisclosed sum of money in two Metallic Trunk Box
weighing approximately 85kg each. The consignment was abandoned
because the Contents of the consignment was not properly declared by
the consignee as “MONEY” rather it was declared as personal effect to
avoid diversion by the Shipping Agent and also the inability of the
diplomat to pay for the United States Non Inspection Charges which is
about $3,800 USD.

On my assumption, the box will contain more than $4.5 Million to $5
Million and the consignment is still left in our Storage House here at
the Harts-field Atlanta International Airport Georgia till date the
box details:

Type: Boxed /chase
Wheels: non wheels
Handles: Trolley handle with top & side handles
Approximate Dimensions: Height: 3.20 ft, Width: 2.50 ft, Depth: 1.90 ft.
Weight: 180 lbs. .

The details of the consignment including your name your email address
and the official document from the United Nations office in Geneva are
tagged on the Metallic Trunk box.

Lastly, be informed that the reason I have taken it upon myself to
contact you personally about this abandoned consignment is because I
want to be sure that the boxes delivered to your collection to avoid
hoaxes of diplomat much protocols since the consignment has not yet
been returned to the United States Treasury Department of IRS after
being abandoned by the diplomat so immediately the confirmation is
made, the abandoned shipment electronic clearing will take place which
the custom security net work will endorse for releasing of the box at
the recipient charge for custom international network security fee of
$109 which you the recipient will forward the fee to the Orlando int'l
custom cashier's office. using the below details to forwards the fee
via Money Gram Or Western Money swift transfer:

Receiver's details:

Name:--- AUGUSTIN CHIDUBEM

Country:---- ENUGU NIGERIA
Amount:----$79

MTCN.........??

I WILL DELIVER THE BOXED-MONEY TO YOU MYSELF BECAUSE THE BOX IS HIGHLY
VALUED SHIPMENT SINCE IT WAS UNDER THE UNDISCLOSED
CONTENT PLATFORM .

Note: ANOTHER IDENTIFICATION THAT IS NOW BEING REQUESTED IS EITHER A
SCANNED COPY OF YOUR TRAVELING PASSPORT,DRIVING LICENSE OR NATIONAL
IDENTITY CARD WHICH YOU ARE TO USE TO IDENTIFY YOURSELF ON THE ARRIVAL
AND COLLECTION OF YOUR boxed-package TO YOUR ADDRESS
