"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: "NOT SPAM" I want to discuss with you, it is very important, there is a mix up somewhere.

Dear,

i cant find were i saved the account details, I am still waiting for you to provide the account details or should I send you my online bank account user name and password? So that you can help me and transfer the remaining $2.2 Million to any account of your choice since I have distributed over $8 Million to charity already and to churches, homes, etc., that is the only money in my account after few months ago I received bad news from my doctor announcing that I have cancer of the brain and i have few days to die because of cancer, I am in the hospital and I need you to use this money for charity work. Can you do this work for GOD? Am in a bedrest for 5 hours then I will check back for your account number, then I will try the online transfer once again or I will email you my account details for you to transfer from your office or home to your account number.

Mrs. Rose Butler
