"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: PLEASE IT IS IMPORTANT YOU GET BACK TO ME

I am Francisco Arroyo, a lawyer and solicitor in charge of the Finance and investment litigation section,
working with Socios Alliance Abogados Y Economistas here in Spain.
I chose to contact you via email. I got your email contact information from your country’s public archive
while searching for any possible relative to my late client Engr. Stan. However, prior to his death he made a
mutual investment deposit worth the sum of Six Million Four Hundred Thousand Euros.
Against this milieu and consequently being the attorney to the deceased, the Finance deposit company has
requested I present the heir/heiress forward to make Claims of the investment deposit; otherwise, the aforementioned
deposit will be reverted by the Bureau of Government Treasury.
Please indicate your willingness to initiate the process by contacting me via my email:arroyo@socioalliance.com

Best Regards,
Francisco Arroyo
