"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Re Good Day Today!

Sir,

I am writing to ask, if you would be willing to help me to secure the money my father left in the bank.
I don't know how to explain my situation to you especially when people I trusted opt to take everything that is mine including the $7,000,000.00 my father left in the bank but then I embody the feeling “I don't want to be silent anymore otherwise, I might lose it the way I lost the houses and plantation etc.
I know, Deciding who to talk to in this my situation can be difficult but the most important thing is that, it's someone you trust and who you know will take you seriously. There are some good people and I am convinced you are and capable to help me to secure the fortune, if you knew the truma, I have been subjected to since my parent died, I am sure you will not hesitate to help me from where you are because distant is not a barrier. I want to rely on your help to secure the fortune and also relocate to your country with the fortune transferred to you for investment in your country on my behalf.
I sincerely appreciate the time you spent to read my email and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Francis Chiteka
