"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Remain Blessed,

Hi,

My Client, Mrs. Doris Red is an aging widow suffering from long time Cancer. My client was brought up from a motherless babies home and was married to her late husband for twenty years without a child. The husband died in a fatal motor accident. After the husband's death my client decided not to re-marry and sold all the inherited belongings and deposited the money,USD10 million dollars in a Bank.

Presently, my client is undergoing treatment for cancer of the lungs and her wish before ever she dies is to see that this money is invested to any organization of your choice and distributed each year among the charity organization, the poor and the motherless babies home, church, mosque and orphanages.

I decided to contact you because I am very confidence that you can handle the project so that you can receive the fund in your account and distribute/invest the fund the way my client wished you to do.

I am 100% sure you can properly handle the project that is why I contacted you,so kindly reply back immediately so that we discuss further details.

Awaiting your kind response while craving your appreciation of my client's predicament.

Remain Blessed
