"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

please am trying to correct some mistakes and need your confirmation report over this matter please. Read the below email carefully because i sent this to you 2 weeks back and still waiting for answer.

I am Mr Rex Tillerson, United States Secretary of State by profession. This is to inform you officially that after our investigations with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and other Security Agencies in the Country for the year , we discovered that you have receive your fund.

There is something that i noticed yesterday while going through our database here and i need to confirm from you now which need urgent attention,i saw your information in our database yesterday that you have received your contract Inheritance & Compensation fund payment from Benin Republic Inland Revenue Service early this year in the amount of US$10.5 Million (Ten Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars) as your full inheritance & Compensation fund.


I have been looking for a ''confirmation report'' from you which supposed to be attached to our database along with your picture I.D for official identification and record keeping. I understand according to the information i saw from our record here that a letter of confirmation was sent to you for you to acknowledge, the receipt of your ATM card as was received by you but till now, this office has not receive the acknowledgement of your ATM card confirmation report as demanded.

This afternoon, a new payment file was submitted for official approval in your name again with the same payment verification details and approved number I am confused and surprise to see this payment file again because you have received your payment.

I want you to check your record and let me know if this information is correct because we are facing some problems over some old payment files and want to correct some things now before it is too late. How much did you receive from the office of Benin Inland Revenue Service and in this month , are you the one that send a request for another fund claim after getting paid also from Benin Republic.

I want you to answer me back now and if possible try and give me a call or Text today on +12027695955 because we need to correct this mistakes to avoid wrong payment while there are many beneficiaries that has not been paid.

Please before you answer back to this notice, make sure that you make a change to your email password for the safety of our communication. Don't tell me that your password is secure,just do as i instruct you to do.


Once again, we are sorry for the inconveniences you might have encountered in the past, in pursuit of your funds. Now that this office, Fund Reconciliation Department is involved, you will have no cause to ever regret again as soon as you adhere to the above given instructions.

I must stop here but make sure that you answer us back today before it will be late after reading this for immediate action.
