"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: IMPORTANT NOTIFICATION(CONFIDENTIAL)

Good Day,

How are you and your family? I hope this letter meets you in good health and you respond as swiftly as possible to its content. I am really sorry to have encroached into your privacy in this manner.

My name is Kamila Michaels, I am a probate officer(Heir Hunter). The British Treasury takes in millions of pounds each year from unclaimed estates and funds(Inheritance). We as probate researchers, we deal finding heirs and their rights to an inheritance. We find missing or unknown heirs, entitled to deceased people's estates before the money is being lawfully collected by the British Treasury.

We have just discovered a casefile with a possible inheritance worth US$12,000,000.00(Twelve Million United States Dollars) in a escrow account and after much research and tracking using specialized genealogical and investigative techniques, we discovered that the rightful heir to this funds, recently passed with no possible next of kin. In light of this development, I am contacting you confidentially with a proposed offer whereby you step in as the next of kin, and with the information at our disposal, we can declare you the heir to the funds and guide you through its claims process.

Please Note*** That this is a confidential request and if you find no interest in this deal, Please respond to decline and discard this email, I further ask that you do not be vindictive or destructive, if this offer is of no appeal to you, kindly delete this message. It is more deserving that anyone other than the Treasury gets this funds. If interested, Kindly respond to this email with the following details as listed below;
