"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

My dear,

Rev. Pius Otem is my name and I send you this email with good faith, I
have a beloved member in my chapel, a wealthy politician from the northern
part of this country, Benin Republic that wants to urgently transfer the
sum of $7.9m from his bank account here in Benin Republic to a secured bank
account that the person will provide.

HIS REASON:

Presently, he is seriously sick in a hospital bed here in Benin Republic
and he doesn't have much time to live so he wants the fund to be transfer
out from bank as urgent as possible.

HIS CONDITION:

The person that will receive the said fund $7.9m will be ready to adopt his
only child of 13 years old, by name Halimat. BY this, he will be assured
that both the fund and his child are save after he must have pass away.

HIS REWARD:

He will gladly offer 10% of the total sum as a sign of appreciation and
also grant you the full right to manage the rest of the fund for his child
until she is 21years of age to take over from you.

If you can be of any good help and can be trusted, then call him as soon as
you receive this email on +229 644 88 18 or you send him email with this
email id ( hopeforrtomorrow@yahoo.com ) for this is really very urgent.
