"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Re: Hello

Hello Dear,is good writing to you today, I'm Mrs. Mareth Jean Claude I have to find the strength to write now before it is too late.I'm an Australian French citizen I'm married to late Mr.Jean Claude a french businessman who is based in Antananarivo Madagascar for the period of 19 years. Is a long sad story our marriage ended without any children my husband died in a car accident three years ago in Abu Dhabi on a business trip to United Arab Emirates.

I did not accidentally contact you because I am a woman who believes in God and her mysterious power to bless people for the sake of the less privileged. I have very little time to live giving to my state of health and the doctor's report that I am suffering from cancer is very painful, but as a believer I am inclined to trust and live with God's will.

My late husband deposited 1.5 million euros in a financial company because of my condition and the love of God. I want to donate this money to your care. I believe that you know that millions of children around the world have been deprived of the warm touch of loving mother and serenity of a father. At a younger age, more innocent and playful, these children were forced to mature quickly by pushing adulthood to survive, and in many cases, to take care of their younger siblings and participate in bad atrocities due to lack of parental control. My plan is to see that this money is used for charity, to help orphans, widows and the less fortunate.

I will be happy to trust this project to your care, because I can trust you I still believe that there are many honest people in this world. Using 30% of it to establish a companies that will create employment opportunities for the unemployed population, I think also a good idea. I will respect your opinion and decision in this matter.

I am waiting for your reply with the following information

Full name
Address
occupation
contact number

Yours sincerely
Mrs. Mareth Jean Claude
