"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: willing to pay you in advance 90% of the $27.

This is to inform you that your name is among the list of contractor
sent to us by African development bank, but I will like to be
honest with you, the best way to pay the money to you is for us to
sell the fund to forex traders who are willing to buy your troubled
fund for 90% of the total value.

I have received 3 proposals from some top forex trading companies
here in south africa and they are willing to pay you in advance 90% of
the $27.8m and once you have received the fund into your bank account,
you can then transfer the new ownership right of the fund to their
companies name.

If you are willing to proceed , let me know so that I can have their
ceo contact you directly for immediate payment to you.

I will like you to get back to me as soon as you can so that I can
notify them of your interest to sell to them, I will not be involved
in any negotiation, I will be only around to confirm to the buyers
that you are the real owner of the fund.

Thank you
yours faithully
Colin Howell
