"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Your E-mail address was among those chosen this year for the DE NEDERLANDS LOTTO. And this program is proudly sponsored by some eminent personality and the owner of the largest software company in the Nederlands.

Your E-mail address, attached to Ticket Numbers 717-930-1226/IOE with Reference Numbers NDL- AFE/1211/110, Batch Numbers EEOI/312-98 and Serial Numbers 07120912 drew the Lucky Numbers 17-26-30-11-01-13-59, and consequently won the lottery in the first Category. You have therefore been approved for a lump sum pay out of 1,000,000.00 Euro.

Please note that your lucky number falls within our European representative office. In View of this, your 1,000,000.00 Euro will be released to you by our accredited claims agent in Europe.
