"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear

This letter may come to you as a surprise but I really prayed to God to help me choose somebody that will be my true partner. My names are Barrister Ramos Gomez  (ESQ). I am the legal representative to Late Mr.Yusef Al-Obeidi ,who died in a fatal accident which Occurred in September 23rd 2012. After confirmation of his death, I have made several enquiries to locate any relative of my late client family which has proved unsuccessful.

In a bid to locate a Family Member,Next of Kin or Business Partner of my late client I decided to broaden my search through bureau of international public records to locate any member of the extended family hence. I saw your name. I know you may/not be biologically related to him but since you both bear the same surname which is the basic requirement for this claim in line with the existing law here in Spain I decided to contact you to help me retrieve this deposit of my late client from the Deposit Outlet.

Before the accident that claimed his lives, my late client's deposited € 24,500,000.00 (TWENTY FOUR MILLION FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND EUROS ONLY) with the Deposit Outlet here in Madrid. As the attorney to the deceased family, the outlet mandated me to present the inheritor, member of the family, business partner or a guarantor of the deceased to make claim of the deposit or the funds will be confiscated and taken to the Bureau of local treasury as unclaimed. Based on the aforementioned situation I am obliged to solicit your co-operation to my proposal; this is by virtue of its nature as been utterly confidential and personal.

Though I am aware of the fact that a request of this magnitude might make one apprehensive and worried, but I am assuring you of my competence to be able to get us through this process. With regards to this, I seek your consent to present you as the heir/inheritor to the deceased family to the Deposit Outlet, upon which, the deposit will be released to you after a due legal process. In view of this, my suggestion is upon the release to you, the entire content should be disbursed on equal ratio between us.

All I require from you is your honest co-operation and collaboration to enable us execute this transaction.  For further questions or clarification you can get across to me via any of my enlisted contact details:-
Tel: +34 602 814 885,  mail:  ramos2gomez@gmail.com

As an attorney, i guarantee you that the intended transaction will be executed under a legitimate arrangement that will protect you and me from any breach of the law. However, if this business proposal offends your moral ethics, do accept my sincere apology. If on the contrary you wish to achieve this goal with me, kindly get back to me with your interest for further explanations.

Kindest Regards
Ramos Gomez
