"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Attn: Honorable Contract Award Fund Payment Beneficiary

RE-NIGER STATE 2016/2017 CONTRACT AND FUND AWARD PAYMENT REVIEW JUDICIAL
COMMISSION OF INQUIRY MINNA NIGER.

As agreed in an emergence meeting held today between the authority of this
honorable Commission and Access Bank Plc management to resolve the issue of
your payment before the end of third quarter of 2017 fiscal year to prevent it
from being recorded as a forfeited / unclaimed fund by Niger State Government
team of auditors that are currently carrying out audit exercise on the State
Government accounts for 2017 fiscal year with the mandate to record any
unreleased Contract Inheritance Fund approved to be released to its beneficiary
as a forfeited / unclaimed fund.

As started, Access Bank will transfer the $5,000,000 [Five Million USD]
approved to be paid to you since January 2016 from Niger State Government
account to avoid delay which will lead to the eventual recording of the huge
sum as a forfeited / unclaimed fund.

In view of this decision by Access Bank management as the appointed paying bank
by Niger State Government and this Commission whose mandate is to ensure the
release of all approved funds to their beneficiaries, the bank has directed
this Commission to instruct you to make available to it the sum of $195 [ One
hundred and ninety five USD] to obtain Access Pin Code of Niger State
Government Account from the State Ministry Of Finance to carry out the transfer
from the government account as this is the only way the release of the
$5Million to you could be achieved before the end of third quarter of 2017
fiscal year according to the Bank management.

The Commission will attach the Bank Transfer mandate Form to you to fill it
with the account information where you will desire the $5Million transferred to
in your favor and also direct you on how to make the $195 [One hundred and
ninety five USD] available to the Commission immediately in its subsequent
correspondence.

to further demonstrate the Commission willpower to ensure the release of your
fund to you, the authority of the Commission also appointed its accredited
attorney in the person of Barrister Mike F. Ahamba to sign relevant documents
on your behalf as your legal representative since the limited time available to
this honorable Commission and the Bank to achieve the payment wil make it
impossible for you to be present to sign off the $5Million through signing of
relevant documents as required by the Commission act.

Kindly, re-confirm your personal information as thus:

[a] First, second and last name
[b] Nationality, state of origine, age, sex
[c] Direct telephone line and occupation

Do not treat this with disdain as this is neither an act of fraud nor an
attempt to lure you as reputable men and women that constitute this Commission
cannot engage in any act that will discredit them and tarnish the image of
Niger State Government that approved the release of the $5Million to you hence,
you are advised to adopt a proactive measure to ensure the release of your fund
within the short period of time available to the Bank and the Commission to do
so as any act of contempt by you will leave the Commission with no option than
to cancel the fund without formal notice to you.

As the Commission is waiting for you to react, you are hereby, advised to
ensure that your mail box is safe as the authority of this Commission and the
Bank will not be held responsible should a wrong account information be
submitted from your email account by criminal elements who may have access to
it without your knowledge.
