"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: urgent assistant

--
Hi Dear,

Greetings, it is my pleasure to contact you for a business venture
which I intend to establish in your country. Though I have not met
with you before, but I believe one has to risk confiding in someone to
succeed sometime in life. I inherited the sum of US$5,800,000.00 from
my late father before he was assassinated. The money is deposited in
one of the prime Security Company here.

Honestly, I am contacting you for urgent assistance to retrieve the
Box containing the money out from the Security Company here and
transfer the money to your bank account for investment in your
country. I want you to help me to retrieve the Box that contains the
money out from the Security Company were my late father deposited it
here and then transfers the money to your personal account in your
country for investment purposes such as:

(1). Transport & building industry
(2). Building Five Star Hotel
(3). Real Estate Investment

If you can be of assistance to me I will be pleased and delighted to
offer to you 20% for the total sum (US$5.8Million) as your own share,
while 80% will remain as my own share which you will help me to invest
in your country.

Please if you can be of assistance to me get back to me through my
email address: eric101iwee@citromail.hu

I hope to receive your urgent response.

Kind Regards,
Master Eric Iwee
