"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

My name is Abel Burato from Colorado, U.S. but now in Afghanistan for peace keeping , I’m a Sgt in the US Army.i grew up in an orphanage home with no parents and relatives.... Due to my childhood background and training i picked interest in the force so as to serve my country in return for the love, care and assistance that was rendered to me as a child.... Well this prompted me to join the US Army to serve and protect the nation. we went for wars and came out with victories. My team was responsible for capturing the second in command of the Talibans, we paid a great price in losing 3 soldiers and sustained injuries. I got some, but minor ones. We found money and ammunition's in our last mission at the Talibans' hideouts, and submitted the ammunition's and sent out part monies to the government. Our team, led by our commander, decided to pay respect for the heavy loss we sustained and to share some of the money within the victims and family; we did well and I got my share of $4.5 million United States dolla

Sincerely,
Abel
