"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Hello

Hello Dear,

I know that this letter may come to you as
big surprise. Actually i found your email address from the internet after honest
prayer so I decided to email you directly believing that you will
be honest to fulfill my final wish before i die. I am Mrs.Marian Michel,

I am suffering from a long time illness
and from all indication my condition is really deteriorating as my
doctor have confirmed and courageously
advised me that I may not
live long from now that my tumor has reached
a critical stage which has defiled all forms of medical treatment.

I have a fund i inherited from my late husband mr. michel,
the sum of four million five hundred thousand US dollars
(US$4.5 Million Dollars) in his bank, but unfortunately
I cannot visit the bank since I’m critically sick and powerless to do
anything by myself but my bank account officer advised me to assign any of
my trustworthy to my relatives, friends or partner with authorization letter to
stand as the recipient of my money. but i have decided
to use this fund for CHARITY WORK so that my soul will rest in peace if i die,

Therefore i want you to withdraw
this fund and take 15% to take care of yourself and family doing this project while
85% should be use basically on humanitarian purposes mostly to orphanages
Motherless babies home, less privileged and disable citizens and
widows around the world. so that my heart shall rest in peace,

kindly respond for further details.

Thanks and God bless you,

Mrs. Marian Michel
