"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Your Unclaimed Consignment

Freight Coordination And Transportation Department
George Bush Intercontinental Airport
Houston Texas, United States.
IATA: IAH, ICAO: KIAH.

Dear Luggage Owner/Email Owner,

After a serious thought, I decided to reach you directly because I bear no grudge against you but your partners you're currently working with at the George Bush Intercontinental Airport Houston, Texas: I am William C. Mcfadden, the freight coordinator of the Airport. My job description is to co-ordinate the influx of shipments into the Airport by identifying the appropriate carriers and the type of goods, value of shipments, auditing and approving logistic invoices for delivery. A couple of months ago which was back in September 2016 to be precise, your partners approached me requesting that I help them retrieve a metallic box labeled QF/DELTA-45 weighing approximately 1,748.3 pounds. They approached me because I am one of the signatories to the release of most packages coming from overseas through this Airport. The straight bill of lading presented by the DHL Aviation company did not indicate the beneficiary to whose order the metal box was to be delivered but indicated that the con
signee was a foreigner fr

However, the value of the contents inside the metal box is estimated to be about $25 million dollars. Your partners gave me your data and instructed me to put them into our data base so that your package will be cleared and released to them directly. They wanted to use this strategy to retrieve the metal box but I never knew they wanted to keep the luggage for themselves with no intention of sharing the proceeds with anyone.

We agreed that once I do this, they would give me $200,000 grand and another $300,000 grand when I effect the final release. When finally authenticated the approval of your name as the owner of metallic box tagged QF/DELTA-45 to the Vault/storage control department, instead of giving me the initial deposit of $200,000, they started avoiding me and refused to honor our agreement. I felt betrayed and used by your partners so i deleted your data from our ICT computing system immediately but released other packages without yours. They became angry and resorted to insults when they discovered that the threats didn't work. Eventually they began bribing other Airport's staffs to get another approval for the release of the package to you without success. I want you to know that I am 100% responsible for the delays and obstructions because of the breach in contract. If you doubt what I have just told you, pay any amount that they request of you and they will surly come up with another reason
to ask you for more money

Now if you want us to work together in order to get this metal box these are my conditions: I will have 30% of the money because it is just the two of us left and as you can see it will be useless and a waste of time/money if you decide to continue with these people in order to get your box released from the Airport's Vault. Send me your direct cell phone number to facilitate easy communication between you and I but if my conditions are not acceptable, I advice you to forget the metal box and stop wasting your time and money with your so called partners. You may contact me directly via my direct email: will.macfadden@gmail.com

I await your response to my proposal.

Best Regards.
Mr. William c. Mcfadden.
Freight Coordinator.
