"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

basis of our cooperation.


I am Mr. E. S Eber, Head of Contract Payment Committee department, in a
ministry here in Benin. My Committee is responsible for processing of
contract payments on completed projects.


Please read carefully the information which I am about to disclosed to you
and get back to me for details because it is is very confidential.


It is about a foreign client/contractor of ours (now late) who has an
unpaid contract fund of (7.7 Million Euro), for supply and installation of
Industrial Equipment's to our ministry here.This contract project was
satisfactorily completed and approved but unfortunately, the said late
client/contractor of ours could not receive the fund before his untimely
death as I have discovered of recent that the foreign contractor was among
the victims in an airplane accident in my country some years ago. I will

Above all, i have as well discovered he never indicated anybody as
business partner until his death. Therefore, my purpose of contacting you
is for you to receive this fund in your custody as the business partner
for our mutual benefit because I shall use my position in the office as
the Head of Contract Payment Committee department to present and recommend
you as the beneficiary/partner of the fund because the partnership column
in his file with my department is vacant and as i said, I am the only one
in a position to present and recommend you as the beneficiary/partner
because its a top secret which only me knows.


When i read from you declaring your interest, I shall then as well discuss
the sharing ratio with you which I hope to give you 30 while 70 for me. I
will be also willing to enter into joint business venture with you in your
country depending on your area of business specialization once this amount
is transferred to you. I shall give you more and full details procedure of
this transaction once I receive your response because your corporation and
attention is highly needed due to the urgent nature of this transaction.
