"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: TRUSTING IN YOU

Hello Dear,

REPLY VIA MY PRIVATE EMAIL: ( xsmrs01@gmail.com )

my name is Emily Richardson undergoing medical treatment in Coronation Hospital, Johannesburg. I am married to Dr. Gray Richardson who worked with the British judicial commission in England. We were married for fifteen years without a
child. Before his death in January this year, he made a vow to use his wealth to help the less privileged. To that end he deposited the sum of 10.8 million Euro with a security company in Asia. Presently, his money is still with the company. Sadly my doctor told me recently that i too do not have more than 4 months due to a terminal and rare form of cancer of the pancreas but what disturbs me most is the
stroke. After some soul searching,I have decided to donate these funds to a God fearing person who will utilize it as my husband wished. If interested, please let me know.

Thank You,
Emily Richardson
