"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Hello My Dear,

How are you doing, I was shock that you have not communicate me with regards to your $1,200,000.00 USD credited into an ATM CARD by the WORLD BANK for you which was brought to my office on your behalf with the help of the United Bank For Africa(UBA) who credited your CARD and have been package and drop with a Courier company called Int'l Courier Delivery Services to be delivered to you. The delivery fee have been paid by me but the only fee remaining is the Security Keeping charges fee of $98.00 USD which you will be required to pay before the delivery will be made to you. I did this because I was unable to make the funds transfer to your bank account in your country and I am going out of Benin to Russia for a period of 4 months for an investment project.

However, you must send your address to them to avoid wrong delivery of your consignment funds to different address and when contacting the courier company, I advise you to quote the parcel and shipment code to them for onward delivery to your address. Therefore, forward the following information when contacting Int'l Courier Delivery Services: Your Name, Your Delivery Address, Your Phone Number and code below.
