"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: I Need Your Partnership To Claim

--
Greetings,

My name is Williams Abbas from South Sudan, Africa but I am presently
a refugee staying in Ghana . I am writing to solicit your assistance
in the transfer of my late father funds what millions of U.S dollars
which my late father deposited in a private safe with finance and
Security Company. This amount of money was deposited by my late father
who was a Coca dealer and Gold dealer in West Africa. before he was
killed with my mother by the rebels.

Presently I am in Ghana where I sought asylum and I have contacted
with finance and Security Company to confirm the existence of the
deposited consignment, after having confirmed that, I contacted with a
human right lawyer attached to the UN here in Ghana who advised me
that I must seek for a foreign beneficiary who will assist me to claim
the money and Gold because I cannot claim it because I have a refugee
status at the moment which does not give me any qualifications to
handle the amount of money in question.

The lawyer advised that I should find a foreign partner abroad and
appoint him or her as my trustee by issued a legally endorsed
appointment as trustee and finance and Security Company will be
requested to transfer the money to my appointed trustee and after that
my trustee can help me to invest the money and latter assist me to
travel to his or her country.

My purpose of contacting you is to appoint you as my trustee. I agree
to give you part of the total money (35%) for your role. If you accept
my proposal, please reply with the following information:
