"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Hello

Hello
Please I kindly apologize for the inconvenience.
I am MADAME BEVERLY MURRAY, a citizen of the United States of America, I was married to Mr LAWSON MURRAY who worked in the embassy of the usa in Abidjan Ivory Coast. He was a special adviser to the embassy. He died of brain cancer 10/08/2009. We were married for ten years with no child, I decided not to remarry. He deposited the sum of 12,000,000 Dollars (twelve million Dollars) with a security company when he was still living. This money is still with the company but given the urgency of my current situation, I decided to look for a right person who can help me to claim the fund. That's why I made the decision to contact you. I just need you to contact the company as my late husband's business partner. I will send you all the documents. With God all things are possible. As soon as I receive your reply I shall give you the contact of the Company. I will also give you a letter of authority that will prove that you were associated with my late husband. We have to pray together. I look forward to your urgent response because all my hope is on you. Also, I want you to know that I did surgery on my ear, which ended badly so I now have a problem of hearing, and up to this moment, I still take treatments.
I seek your assistance so true that I can fulfill the dream of my late husband. I can give you a percentage of 25% for your efforts. Sincerely it is because I am going through a difficult financial situation. Please assure me that you will act accordingly as I stated above. For security reasons, I would like you to keep this information very confidential. muraybev64@gmail.com
