"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: I wait your response

Greetings,
I am sorry to disturb you but please accept this mail with an open and positive mind. I am Mrs Aliyah Mahoud, a widow from Benghazi, Libya. I have a very important request that made me to contact you: I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer which my doctor have confirmed and announced to me that i have just few days to live. Now that I’m ending the race like this as a widow and with no child, I decided to contact you direct.
I have some fund I inherited from my late husband and I decided to donate this fund to a good person that will utilize it the way I am going to instruct here. I need a very honest person who can use it for Charity works, for orphanages, to help the widows and also build schools for the less privilege that will be named after my late husband. The fund is currently deposited with a bank in Abidjan, Ivory Coast and your role will be to:
[1]. Receive the fund into your business/private bank account.[2]. Invest/donate the fund to Orphanage, Charity, Widows and less previlaged.[3]. Value of fund: Nine Million United States Dollars.
Please I want your sincere and urgent answer to know if you will be available for this project, and I will give you more information on how the fund will be transferred to you. Note, everything will be done legally to ensure that the funds are transferred to you. Please kindly reply back through my private email address: aliyah.moud@gmail.com
Yours Sincerely,
Mrs Aliyah Mahmoud.
