"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: For You Only

Attention:

I have watched with keen interest the way you have been pursuing without success your payment sum . At this point i won't mention names of those that you have been dealing with but the ultimate goal now is for you to have positive result and stop spending money unnecessarily.

However, for your information if you show this mail to those you are presently dealing with you will be discouraged by them but my word to you is try it and see what the result will be as they will all know that am going to block their siphoning channel. All that am after is to see that your cash gets to you without further stress and don't forget that you will be confirming the draft first before any financial commitment.

I have related your case to the bank and they promised to raise bank draft on your name ,so i need your full names that will to be on the bank draft.

I used my official position to talk to them and the bank accepted to issue it, they will send you and your Account officer the scan copy and bank back up letter for you and your Account officer to see and confirm, but my question is if the bank sends the scan copy, can you pay the charges after you would have confirmed the draft?

The bank will be requesting for charge fee, security fee and bank bonded courier fee before sending the HARD copy to your address for cash up.

The second option is the use of ATM,here you will just pay for the bank bonded courier cost and it will be delivered to you.The usage instruction will be sent to you together with the ATM .

The bank that is issuing the draft is BARCLAYS BANK, LONDON hope this is okay by you or what is your opinion?

Expecting your response in this direction

Yours Faithfully,

Williams Adams
