"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Beneficiary,

We write to inform you once more about your compensation payment of USD $800,000 under file RC72AG82017 which is pending and waiting for payment instructions from you to finalize completion by bank transfer or through a Platinum Visa Card Payment. It is pertinent for us to bring you this notice, as we have less than 3 days to complete all outstanding payment from the compensation office. It will surprise you to know that we have just three (3) recipients pending out of the total number of 63 recipients listed on our payroll currently undelivered. Kindly reply this email within 72 hours of receipt, otherwise we would assume you do not wish to proceed further with payment to your bank account or by Platinum Visa Card.

For the avoidance of doubt, all recipients must pay the cost of administrative processing to our account officer and obtain payment receipt of payment made to our officer for confirmation to enable them process your claims. In the case of personal identification number (PIN) this information will be send by SMS to recipient mobile number.

Sequel to the above, it has come to our notice that some recipients have taken this Compensation project for granted while some think is too good to be real. It is on this premise, we advise you clear your doubt by taking the opportunity to follow the procedures accordingly and confirm the authenticity of these payment. I sincerely hope that the above payment will bring you good tidings above your previous adversaries you may have encountered in the past.
