"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

FROM: Bryan Watts, (Financial Director)
Prudential Regulation Authority
20 Moorgate, London EC2R 6DA, UK.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN (THE RIGHTFUL OWNER OF THIS EMAIL ADDRESS).

I have been directed by the current British Prime Minister, Theresa May to remind you and find out why you have not been able to claim the money which was legally allocated and approved for payment to your name.

THE PRIME MINISTER: We would not dispute the fact that you were treated unfriendly in the past without courtesy, but I want to tell you that the current British Government would not confiscate or deny you fund you acquired legitimately. We are ready and standby to issue a letter to the Ambassador of your Country represented here in the United Kingdom indicating our support and permission to release and retrieve your funds into your account in your Country via Barclays Bank Plc.

Therefore we would like to call for your full compliance with Barclays Bank Plc to ensure that your long awaited payment is released to you now. I want this United Kingdom to emerge from this period of change stronger, fairer, more united and more outward-looking than ever before.

I want Britain to be what we have the potential, talent and ambition to be. A great, global trading nation that is respected around the world and strong, confident and united at home.it is important to recognize this fact. June the 23 rd was not the moment Britain chose to step back from the world. It was the moment we chose to build a truly Global Britain.

We aspire and will continue to be reliable partners, willing allies and close friends. We want to buy your goods and services, sell you ours, trade with you as freely as possible, and work with one another to make sure we are all safer, more secure and more prosperous through continued friendship. The person in charge of your payment in Barclays Bank is John McFarlane, you can get back for his direct email address incase you do not have the right email ddress.

Finally, your compliance as soon as possible with Barclays Bank via John Mcfarlane is significant if you are not contacted in error and still wish to be paid, because John Mcfarlane has been mandated to return all unclaimed payments to Government treasury as illegitimate payments (Misappropriated funds) within 72 hours.

Anticipating your understanding and cooperation,

Bryan Watts, Financial Director,
Prudential Regulation Authority, (PRA)
London, UK.

For the British Prime Minister
Theresa May.
