"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

How are you doing? I hope you good. I am so sorry for sending you this unexpected message.

My name is Andrew Turner, the Manager of UBS Investment International, London. We have idle funds lying in an investor portfolio for over 6 years. I am therefore looking for someone to trust who will stand to receive the funds without hitches.

All confirmable documents to back up the claims will be made available to you prior to your acceptance. Meanwhile, I have worked out the modalities and technicalities whereby the funds can be claimed without any hitches. Our sharing ratio will be 50% for me, 40% for you and 10% for charity and humanitarian aid. If you are interested, email me back so we could discuss more about this opportunity.

Thank you once again for your interest and I will advise you give me your private email so that we could discuss privately on this matter or should I continue on this e-mail.

Best regards,
Andrew Turner.
