"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: RE: CAN YOU BE OF ASSISTANCE.?

Attention dear friend,

RE: PARTNERSHIP REQUEST FOR FUND TRANSFER DEAL.

Please do accept my sincere apologies if my mail does not meet your
personal ethics.

I will like to do a very brief business with you; there is this dormant
account in my bank with a credit balance of $12.6m (Twelve million six
hundred thousand united state dollars) which has been dormant for over
ten years now, on my further investigation I discovered that the owner
of this account is a foreigner who died long ago, but left no information
about his next of kin.

What I need from you is to use your name as the beneficiary and next
of kin to the original account owner, then as audit manager in my bank,
i will use my position to give clearance and onward remission of the
fund into any of your bank account.

I need your assistance and co-operation to this reality as i have done
my home-work on the best way to create you as the next of kin to the
late customer, this is a clean deal with 100% risk free.

Kindly send me email via: (oderahchimaobim@gmail.com) with your correct
contact details as stated bellow, if you are interested and willing to
work with me.

(1). Full Name.........
(2). Address.........
(3). Phone Number.........
(4). Sex.........
(5). Date of birth.........
(6). Occupation.........

Best Regards,

Mr. Oderah Chimaobim.
