"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Can I Trust You?

Hello,

My name is Capt. Billie Chengs, I am an American soldier in peace keeping force in Afghanistan and also a West Point Graduate presently serving in the Military with the 82nd Air Borne Division

Peace keeping force in Kabul, Afghanistan. As you know insurgents attack us daily.

Actually it is part of funds that we discovered from the residence of fleeing Opium farmers in Afghanistan. totaling US $23 Million dollars in cash and would like to Ship this money to you for safe

keeping till we can come over to meet you and for your efforts we would give you 40% while the remaining 60% will be for my partners and I.

Since Afghanistan is a war zone we plan on using Unisco diplomatic courier and shipping the money out in three large silver Electronic boxes, using diplomatic immunity. If you are interested I will

send you the full details, my job is to find a good partner that we can trust and that will assist us; the question is can I trust you?

When you receive this mail, kindly send me a reply signifying your interest also include your full name, contact address, age, sex and private telephone/fax numbers for quick communication and any

other relevant contact details. This transaction is simple and risk free and the boxes can be shipped out in 48hrs with valid documents making it legal. I look forward to read from you.
