"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear friend in Christ,

I am Mrs. Naomi W.Peterson from Abidjan, Cote D’Ivoire. I was married to late engineer Williams Peterson who worked with American embassy in Abidjan Cote D’Ivoire for 27 good years before his sudden death, after a brief illness that lasted for just only 4 four days. He is a nationality of United States of America.

Before the death of my late husband, we were both born again Christians and since after his death I decided not to remarry or get a child outside my matrimonial home which the Bible is against. I am now an aged widow suffering from long time lung and liver cancer illness, though the one that disturbs me mostly is the stroke sickness. Having known my condition, I decided to donate this fund to a God fearing person like you or better a Christian organization (Church) that will utilize the money the way I am going to instruct herein.

I want this fund to be used in Christian Activities like to help Orphanage, Christian schools, Churches for propagating the word of God and to endeavor that the house of God is maintained. Always help the widows and needy near to you. I took this decision because I don't have any child that will inherit this money and my late husband brother wants me dead, so that he will claim all what my late husband and i worked for.

Right now, I am currently admitted in a privet hospital here in Abidjan and Please if you are Christian enough to receive my Alms-giving Charity donation of the sum US$6.500,000.00, (Six million five hundred thousand dollars), to you and if you can assure me that you will utilize the fund the way I have instructed above.

I will need your immediate respond as soon as you receive this message, so that I will tell you more about the fund which I am donating to you and I will also direct you to speak with the bank where the US$6.500,000.00, was deposited by my late beloved husband.

Remain bless in the Lord,
Mrs. Naomi W. Peterson.
