"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Re: Update

Good day

I greet you with warm regards. I work for Malta Oil & Gas Co. Ltd. as a procurement supervisor Malta Oil & Gas Co. Ltd. is engaged in the supply of gas oil and diesel oils for the marine and industrial transport use, situated in the Republic of Malta / Europe and a common border with Libya and most Northern African Countries.

I contact you, as I believe that we could take advantage of the high price of gas oil / petrol in South Africa to our own benefit. Please read:https://www.news24.com/Tags/Topics/petrol_price_hike

On my desk is a mandate to arrange for Oil purchase from Republic of South Africa for up to 2,000,000 barrels on monthly bases for 12 calendar months.

This purchase is what we call a back door purchase / black market in oil market, my colleagues and I have been conducting this back door supplies / black market oil supply to most big companies in South Africa, including private mines in South Africa for use on their plants in times like this when the normal petrol prize is high.

The reason for my reaching out to you is because we in the process of establishing a middle man structure to mediate between the 2 parties involved (our Company and the Companies in South Africa) before any contract is signed.

You may be wondering why I cannot do it myself. The honest fact is that as an employee working for this company, it is against our company's operational ethics/policy for an employee to be involved or profit in any financial dealings with our Company hence I am looking for a trustworthy person outside my work circle in order to maintain a discreet profile.

I wish to extend this partnership to you my friend to build a middle man structure with you while I work from the background to guide you. Our commission/brokerage as middle man is between $2 - $3 per barrel so if the target of 2M barrels is met monthly we stand to share $4M - $6M every month for a span of 12 months.

Contact me if you are interested in this deal, so that I can give you further details.
