"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Colin Weir Gives

Hello To You,

How are you doing today?, I hope this email finds you well.

My name is Colin Weir, Myself and my wife became the largest UK Euro Millions Winner in 2011.

I have recently been diagnosed with Cancer and i have only few weeks left to live. My wife has since been filing for divorce and practically lives with her new boyfriend and with my present predicament she deserves to be happy.

The reason why i am telling you this is because I have chosen your email selected by a Google powered email newsletter software operated by registered British freelance tech experts upon my request to receive a cash donation of $1.5 million (One Million Five Hundred United States Dollars) payable by my affiliate payout bank. The amount has been dormant in the bank and they recently informed me that i have to provide a beneficiary or else it will be totally declared confiscated.

I do not wish to let the funds go to my wife and neither any family member hence i made this happen and decided to give it to a total stranger who will use it properly or at least maybe a blessing to thank God for what he gave to me.

Perhaps you might feel sceptical, find more info in the link below about my winning.
