"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Good Day,

We are contacting you regarding the contract sum of US$288 Million United
States Dollar, Contract Number: NNPC/FGN/TAM/KWP-0920/15. This contract was
awarded to ENGR. CUIZIO FLORENCE for the supplies of Pipelines and other
accessories for the Turnaround Maintenance of the Three Refineries in Nigeria
(Kaduna, Warri and Port Harcourt).

The Contract agreement that was signed by NNPC and the Contractor states
that; 70% (US$201.6 Million United States Dollar) of the contract sum will be
paid to the contractor after the signing of the contract agreement, whereby
the remaining 30% (US$86.4 Million United States Dollar) will be paid after
the completion of the contract, and the period of the contract was 12 months.
This contract was awarded to ENGR. CUIZIO FLORENCE on the 17TH of August 2016
and he completed the contract on the 10TH of July, 2017.

The Federal Executive Council of Nigeria and Federal Ministry of Finance have
approved the 30% contract balance of US$86.4 Million United States Dollar for
payment to the contractor. But the reason we are contacting you now instead
of Engr. Cuizio Florence is because, before ENGR. CUIZIO FLORENCE relocated
back to his country for Cancer Treatment, he submitted your details to us to
release the Contract balance to you as his next of kin and instructed us to
contact you whenever the contract balance is approved.

The contract balance of US$86.4 million is now ready for payment and you are
the only person in the rightful position to receive this contract balance,
so we implore you to confirm to us the details below.
