"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Deal for you and I

Hello,

My name is Harry Miller. I am the Purchasing Assistant at Beaver Annxor Metals LLC in United Kingdom. My company just opened a new factory there in your country, and in serious need of Cerium liquid we use in recycling and we normally buy it from Australia, China and Kenya at the rate of US$65,000 per 5 liters gallon.

I have personally been able to find a local dealer there. The local agent sells at the rate of US$35,000 per 5 liters gallon. This is cheaper than the amount we have been buying it from Australia and other countries. My director in United Kingdom is not yet aware of this fact that I have found a seller in your country who sells for such a cheap price.

THIS IS MY PROPOSAL: I want you to step in as the local dealer there in your country. I will introduce you to my company and my boss as the local dealer. The reason for this is because I do not want my company to know or have any contact with the local agent who sells it cheap. Hence, you and I can make real cool money.

You as the local seller will sell to my director at the rate of US$60,000 to attract my director to buy from you, as against the US$65,000 we have been buying it. It will be a good price to the company. Hence they will patronize you. We stand the chance to make the profits of $25,000 USD in each 5 liters (One gallon) that the company buys.

My company buys between 100-200 gallons of 5 liters every month, you can do your own calculations and see how much money we will be earning from this deal monthly. I don't want the company to meet the real seller for our own benefits. I am looking for a trustworthy and legit person to transact the deal with. I am so much looking forward to working with you, if you are interested, please write me an email at harrymiller1963@gmail.com so that I can tell you how we can proceed.

Yours sincerely,
Harry Miller
