"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I wish to inform you that your ATM card, dated 10th of June 2020, has been approved in your name for full payment of $1.2 million (One Million Two Hundred Thousand Dollars) from Central Bank of Benin has been approved for subsequent shipment through a Visa ATM card that you will use to withdraw all $1.2 million at any ATM anywhere in the world, but the maximum you can withdraw in a day is $ 5,500 only. We have ordered United Bank for Africa Benin to send you the ATM card and PIN CODE that you will use to withdraw all the funds.

Contact the Foreign Remittances Department of United Bank for Africa Benin as follows: E-mail address: ( drkamaurobert@gmail.com ) Contact person is Dr. Kamau Robert, inform him that you received a message from the office of the Senate instructing him to send you the ATM CARD and PIN CODE. Also send them your direct phone numbers and the contact address where you want them to send your ATM CARD and PIN NUMBER, but you have to pay the processing fees $195 for the claims your ATM card as the non resident Tax clearance charges.
