"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

We are delighted to inform you of the International Online Lottery program which took place on 10/12/2019. Due to mix up of names and phone numbers the result were released on the 22/02/2020. Your name attached to ticket number 018/76 with serial number 084 draw lucky number 13-21-27-36-38-45 with bonus ball which consequently won in the 4th category. You have therefore been approved the winner for a lump sum pay out of three million five hundred thousand dollars ($3,500,000.00 dollars). This is a tax-free draw and all participants were selected through a computer ballot system drawn from over 5,000,000 individuals worldwide.

The program was designed and promoted by the World bank and International Monetary Funds (IMF) to reduce poverty in the world at large. This been the biggest ever played in the world which aimed at changing the lives of millions of people. Please to help us proceed wit your claims, this information must be kept away from the public to avoid unwarranted abuse of the program or fraudulent acts from criminal minded and authorized present(s).

Finally all winnings must be claimed not later than 31/07/2020. After this date, the entire funds will be returned to the beneficiary's country government as unclaimed. Furthermore, should there be any change of your personal details or address, do inform your claim agent as soon as possible.
