"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

It's my pleasure to write you today, I am Mr. Patrick Joseph from
Burkina Faso, West Africa. I work with Africa Development Bank (ADB)
as Auditor Manager. There is sum of Three Million Five Hundred
Thousand dollars ($3.5million) currently in my branch I work. Am in
need of your help as a foreigner to transfer this fund into your
account, risk is completely %100 free.

Please, do not be panic on how I find your email address ok. I got
your email during my personal brazing on the internet when I was
looking for a trusted person that I can handle this transaction to, I
hope that you will not expose or betray this trust and confident that
am about to repose in you for the benefit of our both families.

Also note that you will have 40% of the above mentioned sum, if you
agree to transact this business with me, while 50% will be for me. and
10% will be used to pay back expenses incurred from both ends in the
process of the transfer to your account.
