"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Supplier Needed

Good Day,

I am a business consultant for a big livestock farm in the Abidjan Cote d'Ivoir. There is a vaccine used by the farm, the name of the vaccine is "Salmonella Newport Vaccine" this vaccine is used to inoculate the cows against the Salmonella bacteria which can cause extreme food poisoning if the contaminated beef is consumed by humans.

Recently, I found a reliable manufacturer that sells the same quality of the vaccine at a cheaper price through a contact I made at a trade fair in South Africa last December. But due to my relationship with the buyer (the farm owner), I cannot supply the vaccine myself, because he will demand for the contact of the manufacturer and if I refuse, it may be seen like I am being uncooperative on the other hand, if I give him the manufacturer's contact details, that means that I have lost my advantage and any hopes of making any profit from the supply of the vaccine, because the buyer will do business with the manufacturer directly. This is where you come in.

I would be glad to work with you as my business partner to supply this vaccine to the buyer, you role in this business should you accept is to act like the manufacturer’s sales agent, just like a real estate agent, you hold the connection between buyer and seller as the farm will wire the fund direct to your account. This way, we can successfully supply the vaccine to the farm, make a profit from the sales and everybody is happy.

Let me quickly remind you that you don’t need to have any prior experience or require any license to engage in this business. You job is to be the “middleman” between the buyer and the seller. Primarily, you transmit email communications between the buyer and the seller.

I know you may think, why didn't I do this myself or contact someone close to me. The reason is simple, my boss is familiar with my close friends, and it defeats the purpose of making a profit from the business.
Secondly, I am a very strict businessman, sometimes friends can get greedy and want more than a fair share and if I refuse, they will jeopardize my deal and I don't want this to happen again, because I have had such an experience in a previous business deal.

If you have questions, please send me an email: I will be glad to answer all your questions.

Faithfully

Mr. John Williams
