"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Dear Sir/Madam

Dear Sir/Madam
I am Dazi Martina, sick of terminal cancer. I
have been in the hospital for two months undergoing medical treatment. I was
married to the late Engr. Felix Dazi who worked with different companies in the
United Kingdom for years. We were married for 11yrs with no child. My husband
died on the 24th of April 2020 after a brief illness that lasted for only four
days. My 1st surgical operation has been conducted but I still have the pains.
I am crying every day and night looking up to God to save my life. But recently
my Doctor told me that I may die any time any day from now because of my cancer
sickness. Having known my condition I decided to donate the $3.5Million my late
husband deposited with a security company in Cote d'Ivoire to a good
organization or person that will utilize this fund very well by helping the
less privilege like the orphanages, old people and the widows. I took this
decision because I don't have any child or relative that will inherit this fund.
Would you be kind to accept this offer and do as I have wished? Please write me
back with answer.
Dazi Martina
