"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: YOUR PARCEL FOR DELIVERY.

Attention!! We discovered an abandoned package on your name in our custody,
a parcel that contains a funded ATM card with document as fund over due
Inheritance/compensation to you from Nigeria, being withheld for a long
time maybe reasons why your address was misgiving.

However, based on this, we have tried our best to trace the sender but to
no success till now, and I am contacting you directly by your email as the
parcel were repatriated as a result of inability of the diplomat to deliver
to you, for one reason and the others.

As it is now, there will be a need for you to reconfirm your Names, your
current contact address and Phone# to enable us to re-process for this
shipment to avoid error in delivery again.


All communication must be held extremely confidential please,take note of
that, because by now this parcel regarding the funded ATM Card suppose have
been returned to the authorized Bank reason why I said you should keep
everything to your self to avoid complications, what will be my
compensation from this funds? as I will need a guarantee on my percentage
compensation from you.
