"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Re: Hello

Good day

I am Mrs. Christy Walton, an American businesswoman, philanthropist. I have recently been
diagnosed with Colorectal cancer and rare heart disease, which has defiled all medical treatment. The
intention of this email is to employ the expertise of a Charity minded individual, who can identify a viable
and guarantee reasonable distribution of my wealth to the needy.

I cannot rely on family and closest relatives any more, as they did not show responsible behavior when I
entrusted part of my wealth to them to distribute to charitable organizations but instead they used the money
for their personal needs.

If you are interested do get back to me, so I can provide you with further details.

Do always check your Spam/Junk folder for my next response.

Kindly get back to me on my direct e-mail (christywalton527@gmail.com)

God bless you.
Mrs. Christy Walton
