"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Hi i will be glade to work with you.

Dear/ Madam,

Sorry for taking your time. I am an investment consultant, I have a client
(a General in the army, a Former adviser on Security Matters to one of the
dethroned African Leader and deserted from the army) who has a very good
huge amount that is secured in a security finance firm, which is meant
for offshore investment only.

He wishes to invest in a stable economy on long term bases and will let
you know the exact amount of money involved as we progresses.

His interest is in companies with long terms potentials for rapid growth.
My client is interested in placing part of his fund in your company, if
your country's bylaw allows foreign investment.

Please treat with respect and if you turn down my offer kindly returning
my mail. This way, I can look for another contacts.

No matter your decision on this, please keep this confidential and do
destroyed it if you are not interested.
i look forward to hear from you.

Best regards

Eric Dieudonne Kabore.
