"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Greetings

Greetings,

I am Christine Roland. Daughter to late Dr. Roland Frances. My father
was a very good and hard-working gold merchant; he buys and sells gold
to other foreign people like him. He left US$4.300.000.00 million
dollars plus 800 kilos of gold that he bought to sell it in a
guarantee, he died out of an accident and for the cause of this, these
funds were left in deposit in a security company, so I need your
support to recover them for foreign investment, this is the main
reason why I contacted you.

Please the only information I will need from you is your full Name and
your home address and your contact telephone number, Which I will use
in presenting you to the security company. Where my late father
deposited the consignment. And I will need your honest, because this
is the only hope I have to start a new life again.

Thank you, God bless you,
Yours sincere,
Miss. Christine Roland.
