"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: RE: FOR URGENT ATTENTION

Hello Good Day!

How are you and everything happening around you? I am contacting you
because I need someone who will assist me for a charity program in
Africa, my region as I will depart this wicked world soon due to
esophagus cancer. I want to help the poor kids of Africa as much as I
can. I’m Armando Guebuza, a leader in Mozambique.

I am presently in Dubai (UAE) where I am undergoing medical treatment.
I have no one around me to trust anymore as they all want to loot all
my money and never care about my charity interest. The total amount
for the charity program is US$3.5Million Dollars and 20% of the money
will be for you, for your humanitarian assistance if this is properly
handled and 80% will be disbursed to charity to build a missionary
school for the poor.

I wish you're the honest and hardworking type I am looking for. Please
get back to me with more details about yourself so I would give you
more details and recommend you to my Lawyer for process.

Best regards
Mr. Armando Guebuza
