"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: From Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)

Dear Sir,

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the United States has activated its Emergency Operations Center to assist public health partners in responding to the coronavirus outbreak by giving individual $1,750,000.00 ( One Million Seven Hundred and Fifty Thousand Dollars only) each as the nation's health protection agency, CDC saves lives and protects. While scientists around the world are working 24/7 to develop a COVID-19 vaccine, it will take many more months of testing

before it’s approved and available. However, there’s something you can do right now to strengthen your immune system. Take Cannabidiol (CBD) oil...CBD can help keep your immune system at the stop of its game that is the most reason $1,750,000.00 has been approved to you.

I will advise you contact David W. Archey, Special Agent in Charge of the payment who will direct you to the paying bank.
