"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Please I need your urgent response:

My name is Colonel Pace Kim;
This is to officially inform you that i have written to you in a few
months ago without getting respond from you and i believe that my
previous mail did not get to you, therefore i write you again,
concerning the release of my won fund,

I hope everything is fine with you? I am a soldier who works as a
United Nations peacekeeping force in Afghanistan, in the war against
terrorism. I have in my possession the sum of $ 14.3 million that I
won here in Afghanistan.

I deposited the Above Sum with a Red Cross agent because of UN law. I
want you to be my beneficiary to receive the fund and keep it safe,
because I don't trust the Red Cross agent. I want you to help me and
keep the money saved in your account so that, as soon as I finish my
mission here in Afghanistan, I will come to you to meet face to face
and get to know each other. I will give you 35% of the total money for
your assistance after receiving the money.

Please reply to me here by email: if you are willing to work with me
so that I can send you more information about where the money is kept
by the Red Cross Agent. Your urgent response is highly necessary if
you are interested to help me,
Thanks
Colonel Pace Kim
