"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Please I need your help

Dear Sir/Madam,
My name is Biah Richard Goodwin and I am 14 years old (Boy), I'm the only child of my Late mother (Late Ms. Biah Frances) who passed on to the Lord during this Pandemic (Covid-19). My mum was an accountant with shell Petroleum Company before her death, she has a huge deposit of fund made with a bank (Amount $10.8M.)(Bank Name Withhold) but to my surprise the bank called to inform me that my uncle has presented an application for claim of the fund while his name wasn’t on the lease as my mum next of kin and he has been threatening to kill me. At the moment I am leaving at the shelter for my safety and security.
I am seeking your assistance in moving the fund to you as my late mum next of kin since the bank has advised me to come forward for the claim otherwise it will be confiscated. This fund is my hope in life to further my education. Please kindly respond to me for more information about the fund/clarification.
Yours Sincerely
Biah Richard Goodwin.
