"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Hello, 30/03/2021

Hello,

I am Helen Kristine, the Head of Delivery/Dispatch Unit at Express Delivery Services here in Afghanistan. It's unfortunate we have not met before, but my mind tells me that you are a good person, and I want to trust and confide in you by sharing this important proposal with you.

A soldier serving here in Afghanistan deposited a SAFE BOX of about 19.7Kg with our Delivery Company, and paid for the delivery charges, without providing the information of the recipient, thereby collected our contact details and told us that the receiver will contact us.

But it's unfortunate the soldier was attacked and killed by Taliban on Nov 13, 2020 attack just a day after he deposited the box, and he wasn't able to inform the receiver about the box before his death. I have secretly checked the box, and I confirmed the box contains huge money in US-dollars.

Now, I want to make plans and send/deliver the box to you, so that as soon as you receive it, then I will resign from my work and come over to meet you, so that we will open the box and share the money.

Please our management and staffs are not aware that the box contains money, as I told them the box only contains personal belongings.

Now, I want you to get back to me, so that I will give you the contact details of our Delivery Company, and send you copy of the deposit receipt, so that you will contact our office and tell them you are the receiver of the box, so that the box will be delivered to you without any problem, then I will resign from my work and come over to meet you.

Note this MUST be kept very secret between us, and I assure you 100% that the box will be delivered to you safely without any problem at all.

I assure / GUARANTEE you 100% that the box will be delivered without any problem at all, and I will come over to meet you for the sharing of the money.

If you are willing to receive the box, then provide me with your name, address, phone number and Email, and immediately contact me through my personal Email: helen.expressdel@hotmail.com

I wait for your quick response immediately.

Helen
