"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Please read very carefully I am writing this message with tears on a
sick bed with a laptop where I am on treatment. Let me save your time

oil refinery here in Benin Republic. On May i was informed that my
lovely wife and my only son was sick, I traveled back to US to see my
wife and son reaching they were in the hospital tested positive for
Covid-19, I was mad and cried. I tried all i can to save their life
unfortunately i lost them.

After that i was passing through pains thinking how to live alone and
how to continue with life because I don`t have any family or brother,
just three days ago i went to hospital for check-up, doctors confirmed
that i am Covid-19 positive too, which the doctors have to immediately
put me on medications, now i am on treatment, the doctor said that i
have few weeks to live i may not survive. The reason why i contacted
you is to hand over to you my deposited fund of (5.8 Million dollars
with 50.kg gold bar) which I deposited in a good security house in
Benin Republic. I want you to help me in order to receive the funds
and gold to secure a profitable business in your country in case if i
survive i will continue my life with my part of the money. I have
agreed to give you 30% of the total amount.
