"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: BUSINESS DEAL

Greetings My name is Lawyer David Richard, a solicitor here in the UK. I know these are unprecedented times, but I believe in times like these there is an opportunity.

There is an unclaimed perpetual life insurance policy taken out by my late client. The transaction relates to an unclaimed deposit of £17,820,000.00 (seventeen million, eight hundred and twenty thousand pounds sterling) with a UK bank. The policyholder was one of our clients who happens to have the same surname as you who worked for an energy company here in the UK and died of cancer. No one has contacted him since his death, and all our efforts to locate his relatives have proved fruitless. He has no wife and children.

The Insurance Company Code provides that unclaimed "insured perpetual policies" must be turned over to the state's Abandoned Property Division after 8 years. I am asking for your consent to work with me to claim this insurance benefit as you share the same name as the deceased. If you allow me to add your name to the policy, all earnings will be processed on your behalf. I would like to point out that I would like 10% of this money to be split between charities, while the remaining 90% is split between us. We will not violate any law with this allegation as I have all the documentation needed to expedite the process in the most professional and confidential manner. I will provide all relevant documents to substantiate your claim as a beneficiary. This claim requires a high level of confidentiality and may take up to 30 business days or more to process funds due to the Corona Virus. Your earliest reply on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Consider this listing and send me your information as follows for documentation

1, their full names,
2, your contact address / your country of residence,
3, your direct cell phone number
4, the date of birth
5, your profession

Kind regards

Lawyer David Richard
